Wenatchee First Assembly of God began in 1917 as a little Church of God Sunday School, meeting in a home on Cashmere Street in Wenatchee. Throughout the years of growth, development and change, WFA now ministers to the community from its current facility on McKittrick Street. WFA is a member of The General Council of the Assemblies of God (USA), one of the largest Pentecostal denominations in the United States. It was organized in the early 1900’s by a group of ministers who desired to work together to fulfill common objectives, such as sending missionaries and providing fellowship and accountability.
