It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! There’s always so much to do in preparation for December 25. But before you head out looking for the perfect gifts this year, Pastor Darth has some important tips to keep in mind while you’re shopping.

1.  A Personal Gift

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

2.  A Practical Gift

Ephesians 1:7 – He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.

3.  A Pleasing Gift

Romans 5:8 – But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

4.  A Permanent Gift

John 10:28 – I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me,

5.  A Purchased Gift

Romans 5:15 – But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ.
