Go Tell it on the Mountian

Pastor Jerry begins a series called “The Carols of Christmas” where he’ll explore the Scriptural background of some of the most familiar songs of this Season. As always, practical application will be found and a challenge to “live” not just “sing” the carols will be given.

Isaiah 52:7 (ESV)
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”

Romans 10: 14-15 (ESV)
14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

“The poverty of being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for is the greatest poverty of them all.”
