Invite a Friend 3.26.23
In just two weeks we will be celebrating the “heart” of our faith; that is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Without it, our faith would be in vain. Paul boldly declares in 1 Corinthians; “But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first-fruits of those who have fallen asleep.” (15:20) Praise the Lord that Jesus is alive and because He lives, we can face tomorrow!
WFA will be hosting the annual Holy Week services this year sponsored by the combined Kiwanis Clubs of our community. I’d invite you to join us each day, Monday – Friday, April 23 – 7, at 12:05pm for this hour long service. Various pastors will be speaking. It will be held in the main auditorium.
I particularly want to encourage you to invite a friend, a neighbor, a co-worker or a family member to attend church with you on Easter Sunday. We are bringing in extra chairs so that we can have just one celebration service at 10:00am. There will be some special features including a photo booth. So dress up and take advantage of the opportunity to update your family picture. The Lord has directed me to speak on a number of powerful influences that impact our life as a result of the fact that; “He is Risen.” I believe it will be a encouragement to all who hear it. There are “invite cards” available at each entrance and at the Welcome Center.
Easter is a time that most people are open to attend church. So, let’s issue an invitation and begin praying now that the Lord will do some mighty things in the lives of those who attend.
