It’s a Crazy World 12.18.22
I think we all know that we live in a crazy world. But sometimes, the craziness gets a little crazier! You know what I mean? Last week I read about a lady who is suing the Kraft Food company for 5 million dollars. Are you ready for this? The reason is she claims they have been deceptive in stating how long it takes to prepare a cup of their famous “Mac & Cheese”. I kid you not! The package says “ready in 3 1/2 minutes” but the lawsuit claims that is only the cooking time and does not account for removing the lid, adding water to the fill line and stirring in the cheese sauce. The legal documents goes on to state the label does not state the product “takes 31/2 minutes to cook in the microwave” but rather implies that is the total time to prepare, which is inaccurate.
As we celebrate the coming of Jesus this Christmas Season, we can be assured that God’s promises are totally true and accurate!! There’s no false advertising concerning even the smallest detail. The prophecies of Isaiah, Micah and Jeremiah of the coming Messiah turned out exactly the way God promised. Down to the precise town of Bethlehem. (God even orchestrated the steps of Joseph and Mary to get them there) The details of the “star,” the virgin birth, the destruction of children and return from Egypt all happened exactly as had been prophesied. All details were accurate and fulfilled!
God’s Word is true and His Word is Jesus. You can trust Him with your life this coming new year of 2023. Be assured, my friend, that the promises He has made to us through his written word also totally true and dependable. Second Corinthians puts it so beautifully, ” “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” (2:20 KJV)
