The Good Fight 4.24.22
Jerry Beebe

The Scripture tells us in 1 Timothy 6 to “fight the good fight of faith.”   But what does that really look like in a practical sense?   Joyce Meyer outlines 6 simple key strategies that I’d like to share with you this week.

  1.  THINK AGGRESSIVELY –  Plan and calculate, like a general preparing for battle, on how to engage and defeat the enemy.
  2. PRAY FERVENTLY –  We are instructed in Hebrews 4 to approach God’s throne confidently.  Step forward, with confidence, and tell Him what you need.
  3. SPEAK FERLESSLY  –  You and I have a spiritually commanding voice against the forces of darkness.  First Peter 4 says, “whoever speaks (le him do it as one who utters) the oracles of God.”
  4. GIVE ABUNDANTLY –  Always remember, the way we give is the way we receive.  Live a life of generosity.
  5. WORK INTENTLY – Whatever we put our hand to, we need to do it with all our might.  Stir up yourself in the Holy Spirit and get the job done!
  6. LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY – As children of God, we must love others as God loves us; unconditionally and sacrificially.

Let’s do our best my friends to take these steps so that when the enemy comes, we will be filled with God’s power and will be unbeatable in the enemy’s attempt to defeat us.
