Power of Prayer. 6.27.21
Jerry Beebe

Recently we’ve had several people testify to the power of prayer in their lives.  One lady (Lyn) was admitted to the hospital and told she would be there for at least 3 weeks but after we activated our prayer team, she began improving and was actually released within the first week!   Praise be to God!    Both Rhonda and Carolyn had recent health scares that appeared to be cancer related but after prayer, the biopsies for both ladies came back negative.  Praise be to God!  Gary reports feeling stronger and enjoying better health, while Pam has multiple miracles to share regarding her sister who was recently airlifted to Tacoma General and is now doing fine!  Praise be to God!

The Scriptures declare that the prayers of righteous people have great power!  (James 5:16)   We also read in 1 Johne 5 that “this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us,  And we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of Him.”

WFA has always had a strong emphasis on prayer.  Over 70 people receive a “Weekly Prayer Guide” that is sent each Monday.   An “Emergency Prayer Team” consisting of over 50 people stand ready to be alerted of urgent needs via email during the week.   Also, every weekday our staff gathers at 9:00am and prays for the needs we have become aware of.

If you need prayer, please ask.  You can fill out the request form on our webpage or email:  prayer@wfa.church.   There Is a pastor on call 27 hours a day, 7 days a week if you simply call our main office number at:  509-662-3431  We believe in prayer and we pray!    If you would like to join one of our prayer teams, please contact us at:  info@wfa.church
